I am Mizan Rahman. Currently, working at KITOPI as Franchise Operations Manager”

I am a highly skilled and an experienced F&B professional who has built a remarkable career over the last decade with renowned global restaurant brands. I have a diverse background in both restaurant operations and franchise development, and my expertise has been instrumental in expanding several leading fast-food brands in Bangladesh. My journey in the restaurant industry began in 2006 when I started as a crew member at McDonald's UK. My hard work and dedication soon earned me a promotion to Shift Manager, where I honed my skills in managing teams and ensuring exceptional customer service. In 2010, I returned to Bangladesh and joined KFC, where I was soon promoted to Area Coach. Under my leadership, the number of KFC outlets in major cities of Bangladesh increased from 5 to 11, and I established myself as a leader in the industry.


In 2014, I joined Food Chain Asia Limited (FCAL) as an Operation Manager. With my exceptional operational skills, I played the most crucial role from operational perspective in launching four new international brands; Tony Romas (USA), The Manhattan Fish Market (Malaysia-Singapore JV), Johnny Rockets (USA), and Second Cup Coffee (Canada) in Bangladesh market. My expertise on operational management, budget and P&L management and cost analysis skills were critical to the success of these brands and I continue to be an integral part of FCAL's ongoing success. My commitment to excellence extends beyond just operations, as I am also dedicated to mentoring and training upcoming leaders in the industry. I am a natural teacher and coach, and my passion for developing others has made me a sought-after mentor in the restaurant industry. My franchise development expertise has also been a valuable asset in growing and expanding brands in the regional markets. In 2017, as the part of making bigger picture for my career, I switched to famous Indonesian sushi chain “Sushi Tei” & another global seafood chain “The Holy Crab” and successfully launched their maiden outlets in Bangladesh. 2019 was the global breakthrough year for me. Considering my technical know how’s and franchise communication skill, I got an offer from Johnny Rockets LLC that year and joined with their global leadership team as the “Director of International Business” to look after their AsiaOceania region which consist Middle East, Far Eastern countries, Indian sub-con and Australia. Due to the pandemic and the travel ban came and so that my next career move! I get the chance to join world’s biggest cloud kitchen startup “Kitopi” as Franchise Operation Manager and since last one and a half year, I am adopting the next big thing for F&B industry, Cloud Kitchen & Shared Kitchen platform. In the ever changing world of F&B, I want to assist, support, mentor and guide entrepreneurs around the world to evolve with the time, shape up their business into a successful one and turn their F&B concerns into a growth model to follow with all my skillsets, constructive suggestions and sheer passion for this industry.
